I have an ambivalent relationship to DTLA, but I enjoyed my coffee date yesterday with a dear old friend who was in town. Outside the cafe a man was dancing in front of the window and admiring his choreography, and a jackhammer roared beyond the front door. “City life”, my friend said. Indeed! #DTLA
